- Buy some raffle tickets to draw a horse that's running in the Melbourne Cup.
Tickets are $2.00 each, available at the Main Bar.
Purchase your tickets before the end of October and receive a free drink for every $10 worth of tickets purchased. - Raffle Winners
The draw will take place at 8.00pm on Melbourne Cup Eve, Monday 3rd November. Then after the raffle is drawn... - The Auction!
People can bid for the runners drawn in the raffle.
If you drew that runner in the raffle and you want to keep it, you only have to pay 50% of the highest bid to keep it.
If you decide not to keep it, the horse will go to the highest bidder and you will receive 50% of the amount paid.
The other 50% will be added to the prize pool. - The Melbourne Cup
Then watch the Cup to see who the winners are!
The prize pool (total amount invested through the sale of raffle tickets and 50% of auctioned amount) will be distributed as follows: - 60% to the winner
- 25% to second
- 10% to third
- 5% to the last horse.
