Clubhouse Re-Opening – Everything you need to know!

Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort, Australia’s largest public access golf resort is officially re-open for business!

We’re excited to open our doors once again and look forward to making you feel right at home in our spacious Clubhouse. 

Whether it’s enjoying a meal and drinks after golf, or a stay-and-play vacation with friends and family – we’re ready to accommodate the social escape you’ve been craving.

With COVID-19 restrictions still in place, please note the updated Clubhouse deatils below.

Breakfast service (Accommodation Guests Only):
Daily: 6am – 10am

Monday – Sunday: 10am to late

Sandwedge Snack Bar:
Monday – Friday: 10am to 5pm
Saturday – Sunday: 10am to 5pm

Dinner Service:
Tuesday – Saturday: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Closed Sunday & Monday

Lunch Service:
Sunday: 12pm – 2pm

Please note that our Courtesy Bus and Live Entertainment are suspended until further notice.

Border Bistro is available Tuesday to Saturday, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm (Closed Sunday & Monday).

Check-In, Check-Out & Payments

For COVID-19 tracing purposes, the club is required to keep a full record of all guests staying on the premises.

To streamline this process, all guests must complete the Yarra Golf Guest
Pre-registration Form before arrival. Guests will receive an electronic link to this form via the email address supplied at the time of booking. Please share the link to your full group to save time on check-in.

Once the Yarra Golf Guest Pre-registration Form is completed, the check-in process is limited to merely collecting your keys from reception.

Room payments should be made in full before check-in. No room charges will be available during your stay and pay at checkout is not available. Guests can arrange payment over the phone by calling reception on (03) 5744 1911.

Upon the conclusion of your stay, guests can avoid a checking-out at reception by leaving the room keys on the kitchen bench and closing the door behind them.

Please note, the Main Reception area is limited to four persons at a time due to 1.5-metre social distancing requirements.

All rollover re-bookings for the following year can only be made via email. Please email stayandplay@yarragolf.com.au to rebook.

On-site Amenities

On-site BBQ facilities are available for all guests during your stay. Notify reception after use so staff can clean and sanitise the BBQ area for other guests. Portable BBQ hire is no longer available.

Table service Breakfast is open daily to all Accommodation Guests from 7am to 10am. Bookings are compulsory (yarragolf.com.au/dining). Please enter via the Greenside Terrace glass doors.

Before entering the facility, please ensure you have washed or sanitised your hands.


Our COVID-19 social guidelines have also been updated to align with Government and Health authority recommendations.

Before entering, all patrons will need to register their contact details at the point of entry. These details will be made available for contact tracing purposes should a case of COVID-19 be reported.

Social distancing measures are also in place. Where possible, please aim to keep at least 1.5 metres away from others and avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses.

As always, practising good hygiene is essential. Remember to wash hands with soap and water before and after eating and after going to the toilet.

Inline with ClubsNSW guidelines, a CovidSAFE Marshall (wearing hi-vis) is on-site at all times and tasked with ensuring compliance of the one person per 4 square metre rule, in addition to promoting good personal hygiene.

Patrons are required to use tap and go payment facilities instead of cash where possible.

The Kid’s Activity area remains closed.

Patrons feeling unwell should avoid entering the Club.

These small proactive measures not only contribute to the ongoing safety of our community but are a vital step in fast-tracking our Club back to normal.

Course Availability

From Tuesday 26 May, the magnificent fairways of the Murray, Lake and Executive Courses are re-open to all golfers.

Social distancing measures remain in place, and the following restrictions also apply:

  • All play booked in advance by calling the Pro Shop on (03) 5744 3983
  • Strictly no walk-ups
  • Arrive no more than ten minutes before tee time
  • Cashless transactions only in Pro Shop
  • Leave immediately after your round
  • If unwell, stay home

Ground and Pro Shop staff will be monitoring the courses daily to ensure
all players adhere to these rules.

Temporary Local Rules (COVID-19)


  • Players enter their own hole scores on their own scorecard. Scorecards should not be handled by another person.
  • Verbal certification is required of the player’s hole scores and total by a playing partner.
  • The player must sign their own card only.
  • Signed scorecards to be returned to the Pro Shop.


  • The flagstick is to remain in the hole at all times.
  • Players are not allowed to handle or touch the flagstick.

Preferred lie in bunkers

  • Preferred lie one club length, no nearer the hole is allowed in bunkers only.
  • Rakes have been removed from the course and players are asked to smooth bunkers using their feet or a club only after playing their shot.
