Given it’s been a few weeks since our last message, I thought it timely to provide our Members with a quick Club update, and how we’ve been coping since the latest round of travel restrictions.
I want to start by thanking the wonderful residents and Members from Mulwala for their support over the past few weeks. While our golf courses and Clubhouse are a little quieter than usual, your loyalty and commitment remain as strong as ever. We’re truly grateful for your support during this time.
Our thoughts continue to be with our Members, staff and residents south of the border. I know many of you would be missing the daily sanctuary of our golf courses, bowling and croquet greens, and even more so, the friendships and support network our Club provides.
Please continue to look out for your mates. Whether it’s just a quick phone call to check-in with a friend or organising a weekly round of golf at Black Bull. Stay connected, stay engaged, and we’ll get through this together.
From a Club perspective, we continue to power on.
Our grounds team continues to work hard on golf course improvements, with bunker renovations and new cart path works progressing nicely. In the kitchen, our $12 takeaway packs and free delivery remain the best deal in town – Members will be happy to know that beer and wine delivery will soon be added to the mix also! And with accommodation remaining quiet, our maintenance crew are freshening up our suites and villas in preparation for the increased tourism we’re expecting when travel restrictions eventually ease.
