Privacy
ABN 11 000 996 930
Yarrawonga & Border Golf Club respects the privacy of personal information that it collects from all of our members and business contacts, and is committed to managing that information in a responsible manner.
Yarrawonga & Border Golf Club will collect and hold personal information for an application for membership. This includes such information as your name, date of birth, address and telephone number. The Club then displays the application in a conspicuous place as required by the Registered Clubs Act 1976, without breaching the Privacy Act 1988. Failure to provide all of the requested information will result in the application being rejected.
Yarrawonga & Border Golf Club does not usually disclose your personal information to any other organization or person unless there is a legal requirement to do so. The club may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to the club. These contracts require the third party to keep your personal information confidential and secure. Examples of this are the Golf link handicapping system or the AGU personal insurance plan.
The Club may collect personal information in order to comply with obligations under the AMC/CTF Act. The personal information collected will be kept secure at all times and only passed on to external bodies if required or authorised by law.
If you have any complaints or concerns regarding privacy matters, or would like a full copy of the privacy policy, please advise in writing to the Privacy Officer at the Yarrawonga & Border Golf Club.
