Accommodation Information

Reception & Check-Out

Reception is open daily from 9.00am to 7.30pm. Check-out time is strictly 10.00am unless prior arrangements have been made with reception. Late checkout charges apply.

Parking

Each unit has one allocated parking space except for the Boronia, Correa and Myrtle Villas which have three, and Acacia Villas which have two. Additional parking (including space for trailers or boats) is available in the un-numbered parallel car parks in the middle of the complex and the general car park at the entrance to the accommodation area.

Smoking Policy

All units are non-smoking. However, an ashtray has been provided on your balcony or directly outside your room. Smoking is not permitted in the Clubhouse, but the Outdoor Gaming Terrace and Greenside Terrace are designated smoking areas. Please be aware there are severe penalties for smoking in non-smoking areas.

Room Services & Supplies

All units are self-contained and are not serviced daily. Fresh towels are available upon request. If you would like your unit serviced daily, please arrange this prior to your visit—an additional fee applies. Coffee, tea and milk sachets are provided for the day of arrival only. Guests are expected to provide their own supplies after that. Nearby supermarkets include Foodworks in Mulwala, IGA near the bridge in Yarrawonga, and Woolworths on the southern end of the main street in Yarrawonga.

Internet Access

Free wireless internet is available in all units. Connect to the network “Guests Wireless” using the password “golfclub.” This service is not suitable for streaming.

Maintenance & Housekeeping

If anything in your room or around the Club requires attention, please notify Reception. We will endeavour to rectify the issue as soon as possible.

Large rubbish bins are located throughout the accommodation area for your use.

Spa Baths

Many suites feature spa baths. To operate the spa, ensure the water level is above the jets and press the button located on top of the bath. Spa gel is provided for your use.

Laundry Facilities

There are three laundries available for guest use, located between suites 8 & 9, 49 & 50, and 61 & 62. Washing machines take 2 x $1 coins, and clothes dryers are free to use. Change, washing powder, and additional irons are available at Reception. Your unit key provides access to communal laundries. Please do not hang washing outside your unit; clothes racks are available on request for indoor drying.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool operates from 6.30am – 9.00pm during daylight savings and from 6.30am – 6.00pm outside of daylight savings. The pool is not heated or supervised, and it is closed during the winter months. Children under 12 years must be supervised by an adult inside the pool fence. Strictly no glass is allowed in the pool area.

Storage & Tennis Court

There is luggage storage and golf equipment storage available. Please speak with Reception to make arrangements.

Tennis court access can be arranged through Reception. Bookings are limited to one hour if others are waiting. Racquet hire is available at Reception and tennis balls can also be purchased. Court hours are 8.00am – 9.00pm. Only tennis shoes or runners are permitted on the court. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

Dining & Clubhouse Facilities

Clubhouse Access

The Clubhouse is open from 10.00am – 11.00pm Sunday through Thursday and from 10.00am until late on Fridays and Saturdays.

All guests entering the Clubhouse must sign in daily to become temporary members. Photo ID is required, and your temporary membership slip must be retained while on Club premises. Sign-in stations are located at Reception and inside the western Clubhouse entry. Annual membership forms are available in the foyer—please speak to Reception for more details.

Dining Options

Breakfast is available seven days a week in the Border Bistro. Bookings must be made at Reception by 6.00pm the night before. The breakfast entrance is through the Greenside Terrace doors at the unit end of the Clubhouse.

Lunch is served from 10.00am to 5.00pm daily at the Sandwedge Bar, offering sandwiches made to order, burgers, salads, light meals, cakes, coffee and more.

Dinner is served from 5.30pm to 8.00pm nightly in the Border Bistro. Our evening menu provides a quality, delicious, and affordable dining experience for the whole family. A children’s menu is available and high-chairs can be requested. Learn more about the Border Bistro.

Three guest BBQs are available—three near the course-side units and two on the lake side. These are free to use.

Alcohol & Entertainment

Takeaway alcohol can be purchased from the main bar until 11.00pm. Alcohol must not be consumed outside the units after this time.

Entertainment in the Clubhouse includes regular live events and movie screenings. For current listings, visit our What’s On and Cinema pages. Raffles and promotions take place on Tuesday and Friday nights. See the advertising boards or ask at Reception for details.

Yarra Golf Cinema

TAB, Keno & Family Fun Zone

TAB and Club Keno facilities are available from 10.00am daily and are located at the end of the main bar.

The Family Fun Zone is open daily from 10.00am and is located within the Border Bistro. This is a designated interactive play space for children aged 2–8 years.

Activities & Entertainment

Bowls

Our lawn bowls greens are among the best in the region. Social bowls are offered weekly during the season on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Guests are also welcome to play casually. Equipment is available at the main bar.

Croquet

Croquet is played on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings, starting at 9.00am during daylight savings and 10.00am outside of daylight saving time. Visitors are very welcome. If you’d like to play outside these times, see Reception to access equipment. Please note that the croquet lawn is not set up on Wednesdays.

Golf & Pro Shop

Pro Shop & Services

The Pro Shop is located at the western end of the Clubhouse and is open daily from dawn to dusk. All tee bookings and green fees are managed here. The shop offers an extensive selection of golf equipment, apparel and accessories. Club, buggy and cart hire are available, as well as drinks and snacks. Golf lessons can also be arranged with our professional team. Phone extension 1 or call 5744 3983.

Practice Facilities

Our state-of-the-art practice facilities include a driving range, hitting nets, putting greens and a chipping area with bunkers. Please avoid chipping practice on lawns near your unit.

Tee Times & Bookings

All players must report to the Pro Shop at least 10 minutes prior to their tee time. Course bookings for 18 holes are available seven days a week and can be made up to 12 months in advance. 9-hole games do not require bookings.

Drinks Cart

The food and beverage cart operates daily from 9.00am to 4.00pm on the Murray, Lake and Executive courses, offering gourmet sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Service is dependent on weather and course traffic. Please note that alcohol consumed on-course must be purchased from the cart—no BYO alcohol is permitted. Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol.

Resort Amenities & Services

Security & Emergencies

House security is available from 11.00pm to 8.00am. From your unit phone, dial 801 for the first call and 802 for the second call if required.

For minor first aid assistance, contact Reception. For more serious issues, phone 000 or dial 803 from your unit phone, then call Reception on 9.

Emergency evacuation procedures are located on the rear of your unit door. In the event of evacuation, proceed to the assembly area near the swimming pool.

Accessibility

Disabled parking is available in both the upper and lower parking areas. Wheelchair access to the Clubhouse is via the lift in the main foyer or the ramp at the western entrance. Contact Reception if you require further assistance.

Battery Storage Policy

Effective from 1 July 2024, lithium-ion batteries must be stored in your vehicle due to updated insurance policies. This applies to buggies, scooters, and e-bikes. Batteries may not be stored in rooms or Club storage areas. A designated lithium-ion charging cabinet is available for safe on-site use.

Policies & Safety

Cleaning Charges

Daily servicing is available on request for an additional charge, varying by unit type. Excessive cleaning required after check-out may incur a fee of up to $300.00. A charge of $20.00 applies for each unreturned room key.

Noise & Conduct

Please avoid loud noise and behaviour that may disturb other guests. No alcohol consumption is permitted outside of units after 11.00pm.

Wildlife

Do not feed kangaroos, ducks, or other local wildlife, as they can become a nuisance.
