The 2026 Champions of the Murray 4BBB Final was held last Sunday at Cobram Barooga Golf Club, bringing together qualifiers from across the Golf on the Murray network for another fantastic day of competition.

Representing Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort were:

• Carol McDonald and Krys Bridgeman
• Josh Hughes and Rod Smith
• Carolyn Boston and Cath Lowrie
• Rob Dick and Rob Ewert

Our teams represented the Club with pride, with Rob Dick and Rob Ewert producing an outstanding round of 40 Stableford points to finish runners-up in the men’s competition after winning a countback.

The men’s title was claimed by Cobram Barooga Golf Club representatives Jamie England and Rocky Perri Jnr, who recorded a remarkable 46 points on their home course. Their six-point victory was the largest winning margin in the tournament’s 15-year history.

In the ladies’ competition, Sandra Whitfield and Jennifer Decker from Murray Downs Golf & Country Club combined brilliantly to record 47 points and secure the 2026 title. Veronica Irving and Judith Callahan from Cobram Barooga Golf Club finished runners-up.

The Champions of the Murray Final is always a wonderful opportunity for golfers from across the region to come together and enjoy some friendly competition, and this year’s event was no exception.

Congratulations to Jamie, Rocky, Sandra and Jennifer on claiming the 2026 titles, and to all of our Yarrawonga Mulwala representatives for qualifying and competing in the final.
