Yarrawonga Mulwala turned on the sunshine for a wonderful day of golf on Saturday 3 August, as a full field of 119 players came together to support the Friends in Common Charity Golf Day.

Thanks to a terrific combined effort from players, volunteers and the Club, a cheque for $4,240 was presented to Lesley Shead, Vice-President of Friends in Common, a local charity that provides vital assistance to community members living with cancer.

This total included a generous $2,000 donation from YMGCR, alongside all player entry fees and collected green fees. Lesley was thrilled to accept the funds, offering heartfelt thanks to all who contributed, including the Club for hosting the event and the Pro Shop team for their outstanding coordination and support.
