What a summer it’s been at the Club. Across the Christmas school holidays, we enjoyed one of our busiest and most memorable periods in recent years.

The Bistro was the centrepiece of the holiday period, welcoming more than 13,000 evening diners across summer. That’s a 12% increase on the same period last year, with nights of 400 or more guests becoming a regular occurrence. The Bistro continues to be a clear favourite for family groups, highlighted by the sales of kids’ nuggets and chips, with over 10,000 individual nuggets served during the holiday period.

Our golf courses were extremely busy throughout the holidays, with both members and visitors making the most of the outstanding playing conditions. The feedback has been fantastic, and it’s a credit to the hard work of our ground staff, who had the courses looking immaculate through one of the busiest times of the year.

The cinema was another standout, with sessions close to sold out most days. Song Sung Blue led the way, selling out every single screening and quickly becoming the must-see film of the holidays.

Beyond the Bistro, fairways and big screen, the Club was buzzing with activity. From Christmas raffles, Santa photos and cash draws through to Australia Day raffles and live entertainment, there was always something happening across the venue.

It was great to see so many familiar faces return, along with plenty of first-time visitors discovering the Club. We even had a few surprise drop-ins along the way, including Travis Fimmel, other well-known Australian actors and Australian jockeys.
