At their January 2022 meeting, the Board of Directors approved a change to shift the Club’s annual Membership period to be in line with the financial year, July 1 to June 30.

While shifting renewal processing away from a peak period will dramatically improve staff resourcing, the mid-year timing may also benefit Members by alleviating potential post-Christmas cash flow issues.

The change is immediate and affects how and when Members pay their 2022/23 subscriptions.

To bridge subscriptions to the new start date, all non-social Membership categories will soon pay a once-off pro-rata subscription covering the period from March 1 to June 30, 2022.

The 4-month pro-rata payment is calculated at your current subscription rate and includes any locker and storage access you may hold. View a table outlining pro-rata payments below. Annual sports affiliation fees and insurance are excluded, with fees for the 2022/23 year payable with renewals on July 1, 2022.

All affected Members will soon receive their pro-rata notice in the mail, with fees due no later than February 28. Members will no longer be financial if payment is not paid in full by this date.

In June 2022, non-social Members will receive a second fee notice and begin their new annual cycle commencing July 1, 2022, through to June 30, 2023.

For Social Members, rather than a pro-rata payment, all Social Members joining or renewing before June 30, 2022, will be offered a 16-month Membership, valid until June 30, 2023, for $29.

Lastly, all current Yarrareward Points will now extend to June 30, 2022, giving Members an additional 4-months to use any accumulated points balances.
